Am I Trippin’

Yeah I’m DEFINITELY trippin, I really didn’t realize how extremely dope one our next guest is.  Honestly, I like to interview people that I have  history with, and one of today’s guests I’ve known since High School. I am just blown away by the accomplishments of Burt Blackarach.  Here is a quick peek at his bio.

Burt Blackarach is a Grammy-winning engineer (The Temptations), seasoned DJ and long time collaborator, as a producer and composer, with iconic MC, Chuck D, of seminal rap group, Public Enemy.

Blackarach quickly became an accomplished producer, engineer and guest DJ working with old and new talent alike including Snoop Dogg, The Temptations and Kelly Clarkson. In 2000, Blackarach achieved a 'Best R&B album' Grammy win for his engineering work with The Temptations and was quickly adding composer to his list of skills. Together, Blackarach and G Wiz have produced songs for Public Enemy, Aerosmith, Ludacris, KRS One and Busta Rhymes among others. ESPN's X Games, countless Superbowl commercials and original music for MTV and VH1 produced shows and films. He created the #1 Airbnb Experience and has found a way to maneuver through this industry and contribute to the culture in so many ways.

His Unshazamable Experience takes you on a journey through a collection of rare, never released recordings from the 1960's to the 1980's. The curated set of rare gems features legendary musicians, including Rick James, Toto and Public Enemy, plus, Burt's own father and songwriter Hall of Fame inductee,

We took sometime to interview Burt and we dug deep into the top of music.
