My journey getting active has been much easier since I began working out with Kawanna.

I had been inactive for three years following my husband’s unexpected death. I found myself having difficulty doing the simplest things such as feeding my pets. Bending down, carrying things, and walking short distances was painful and hard. I knew I needed a push from someone else but was so scared that they’d be hard on me or disappointed in my slow progress.

I was truly blessed to have a friend refer me to Kawanna. she has become such motivation in my life. I hike more today than I ever thought I could and never once has she made me feel inadequate. I am grateful for the impact she has had on my mind, body, and soul. She’s become such a light in my life.

What I really appreciate about our work and your process is that it’s not so much focused on losing weight and “what’s wrong” with us but you really individualize the workouts to be exactly what we need in the present moment. It doesn’t feel shaming or focused on toxic diet workout culture which is what I’ve always dealt with.

Trap Bootcamp has made a tremendous impact on my life over the last 5 years. I started training with her to look good for my brother’s wedding, but she made me realize how important it was to continue my journey in not only fitness, but in overall wellness too - mind, body, and spirit included. I’ve been training with Kawanna ever since, and even as I’ve gotten older and through the rough pandemic years, she has effectively worked with me to stay consistent and get results.
